May 12, 2007 · 6 Comments

After having received a ton of feedback from you guys & girls out there, we’ve worked hard over the past 24 hours to present you with 8 new search buttons on our homepage. They are:

live1.png Live.com ask.png Ask.com amazon.png Amazon.com ebay.png eBay.com

answers.png Answers.com imdb.png IMDb.com deviantart.png deviantART.com ggroups.png G-Groups.

We are also working on creating international versions of the site, primarily aiming at the following regions and languages:

  • Chinese
  • Italian
  • French
  • German
  • Spanish

Please bear with us over the coming days as we work to introduce these for your convenience. ;)

Thanks for the support, the great comments/constructive feedback, and for contributing towards the improvement of the site!

I’d like to see a few more Yahoo services like Yahoo Answers, Image or Video search.

It would also be cool to have some order amongst the images.

    Great idea, and great implementation!

you should also add a function to let us choose which search buttons we want on that page, otherwise it looks as if it’s a normal spam advertising website
furthermore, you should also change the colour and make it more professional looking; light blue isn’t a suitable colour and makes the site look to playful and not serious, you should change it to blackish or red or at least a normal or dark blue which would make it suitable for all ages to save as a homepage.
right now, i have sputtr.com set as my homepage and it doesn’t look very appealing to me and prefer to have google.com as my homepage because of the simpleness and layout
lastly, the sputtr suggestion thing doesnt work for me…
