A couple of weeks ago we started the “Blog About Us And Win $200” contest here at Sputtr.com. Since then we’ve received many excellent reviews of our site! One of these (the best!) will win the cash prize of $200 on the 31st of August - but the deadline is not until the 30th of August, so all of you still have more than 2 weeks to take part and grab that CASH! I have been teaching “Computer Kindergarten” for novice senior citizens (eight classes completed to date) and now have started a column in the local newspaper’s Golden Times (senior news) section to extend aid in searching out intriguing, fun and useful websites for them. I love Sputtr’s home page where these novices may find so much of interest just by browing the tabs you’ve already prepared for them on a “home” page. Parents and grandparents among them will love the new instant messager program. Most of them indicated they use their computers mainly for surfing and keeping track of family. So, naturally, Sputtr will be fully noted in a future column planned on browsers.
Are you aware that seniors are the fastest growing segment of computer users?
