Today we have re-launched this blog in support of our fresh and new search service over at Sputtr. It’s quicker, it’s leaner, it’s better! But I’ll get to that…
So, if you’re new to Sputtr and you’re asking youself ‘What on earth is Sputtr?’ … well, let me explain:
Sputtr is essentially a really clean and simple startpage that you can use to search all your favorite websites such as Google, Yahoo, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Twitter, del.icio.us and many, many more - in fact, you could technically search an infinite number of search engines using this simple startpage. By using Sputtr you save time by not having to individually visit all those sites and by being able to search them all from one central point! And best of all, you can completely customize the search engines you want to use on Sputtr – you don’t have to use the default search engines we give you, but instead you can simply create your very own search engines. So go give it a try at Sputtr.com and see if you find it useful!
Cheers,
Steffen

Really liking the clean minimalist design here – it’s kind of refreshing and spacious.

What happened to my original settings? I had added all these engines and they don’t show up now, even after I log in. I’m all for progress, but why leave your loyal users behind?

I agree with above spent a lot of time setting mine up now its all gone. Hmmm.
On the new version there is no reset to default so if you make a mistake like I did you’ve lost that part forever?? it seems so.
Shame I really liked the concept.
